Turning the 2030 Commitment Upside Down: Using Metrics to Guide Design
1.0 HSW/SD LU Hours - Pending Approval
1.0 GBCI CEU Hours - Pending Approval

This session takes the idea of looking at energy and resource outcomes of a project, and turns the process on its head. The speaker will follow through defining environmental performance metrics at the start of a project, and then using them to re-imagine a design process that produces a project that actually performs. Metrics, including energy, water and land use, are defined upfront and used throughout the design process. Tools that help with implementation are shown and discussed. The outcome is a project that is focused on performance and ready to measure.
