Summary: In the next fifty years we will build as many buildings as have been built in the history of human kind. In order for this development to not cause the ultimate environmental calamity green building will go beyond today's main stream programs and codes beyond their current scope. During this informative and highly relevant discussion participants will gain insight into the driving forces behind today's codes; and the leading edge work of the green building and code communities to create green building codes that not only protect the health and safety of building occupants but also address the larger ecological based risks of building design and construction.
