2007 Service Awards
Program
AIANJ Service Awards Program is designed to focus
on the accomplishments of members and non-members
on issues of public awareness of the built environment,
service to the community and other non-design aspects
of our profession.
These awards are open to self-nominations from members,
as well as member nominations for others who meet
the qualifications outlined in this brochure.
Deadline
for entry: October 9, 2007 .
All awards applications must be received by AIANJ
before the end of the work day.
Additionally, applicants should consult with their
local AIA component for their deadlines.

Distinguished
Service Award |
An
award may be given to recognize a member of AIA
New Jersey who has provided distinguished service
to the profession and to the Society. The award
is to be based solely on the individuals achievements
and their involvement in the profession
and in AIA New Jerseys programs and activities. |

Architect
Of The Year |
An
award may be given to an individual recognized
as having made a major accomplishment in the field
of architecture and has distinguished himself
/ herself both professionally and personally.
The award basis is to be on both professional
and technical accomplishments. |

Architectural
Firm
Of The Year |
This
award may be given to an Architectural or Architectural
Engineering Firm recognized
as having made major accomplishments in the field
of architecture and has
distinguished themselves both professionally and
personally. The award is to be
based on professional, community and technical
accomplishments. |

Young
Architect
Of The Year |
An
award may be given to an individual recognized
as having made major accomplishments
in the field of architecture and has distinguished
himself / herself both professionally and personally.
The award basis is to be on both professional
and
technical accomplishments. This award is to be
presented only to an AIA New Jersey member who
has been registered in the practice of architecture
for no more than 10 years. This award is to recognize
an individual for achievements in the profession
at an early point in their career. |

Intern
Architect
Of The Year |
An
award may be given to an individual recognized
as having made a major accomplishment in the Intern
Architect Program and has distinguished himself
/
herself both professionally and personally by
not just meeting the requirements of the program,
but by surpassing them. The award basis is to
be on both professional and technical accomplishments. |

Resident
Of The Year |
This
award may be given to a resident of New Jersey
recognized as having made major contributions
to the built environment through community activity,
legislative involvement, professional (non-architect)
practice or by means of other appropriate activities. |
Awards
Dinner :
The Awards will be presented to the winners on Saturday, January 12,
2008.
