Background:
Morris
Habitat for Humanity, an affiliate of Habitat for
Humanity International since 1985, believes every
family should have the opportunity to live in a decent
home in a good neighborhood. A roof over their heads
provides the security that gives a family the chance
for stability and happiness. The mission of Morris
Habitat for Humanity is to share in the building of
affordable housing to create a better quality of life
for deserving families in need.

will have complete design freedom within the program
to design a single family wood frame home on a half-acre
lot on a suburban residential street in Morris County.

Eligibility:
Open to all architects licensed 10 years or less,
unlicensed associate members and architecture students.
Individuals or teams may enter. All individuals must
be New Jersey residents.
Note:
All unlicensed entrants must be sponsored by a licensed
architect.
Registration:
Entry
Fee: $25.00
All
entrants must pre-register with the American Institute
of Architects, c/o Kim Vandegrift, LAN Associates,
445 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ 07432. To request
a registration packet, please send your check payable
to AIA-NJ to the above address. Include the name of
the team leader.
